First how to make Kita:
Good snack for Diabetic people .
Two or three cups of Teff
3 tablespoons of Buckwheat honey
3 tablespoons of Goji Berries, Blueberries or Raspberries
3 tablespoons of Coconut flakes
3 tablespoons of Sesame or Flax seed
3 tablespoons of Almonds flakes
3 tablespoons of Pumpkin seeds
Use half a cube of butter or about
4 tablespoons of Olive oil
Mix the products together with a little water.
Bake the kita.
You can serve this for Coffee snack. Enjoy!!
Take the baked Kita
Cut it in to small pieces.
1 tablespoon of Ethiopian Berbere or hot spice.
5 tablespoons of olive oil
Mix the top product and pour into small pieces of Kita. This will give you delicious Chechebsa or Kita firfir.
Usually, Chechebsa is made with Ethiopian Kibe (butter).
